Pradaxa and Xarelto Bleeding Cases Investigated by Koester & Bradley

FDA Warns of Pradaxa® Bleeding and Death Risk–Koester & Bradley is pursuing Pradaxa Cases in Champaign-Urbana and CentralIllinois.

The anticoagulant Pradaxa® (generic: dabigatran) has been reported to cause injuries such as:

  • Death
  • Brain Hemorrhaging
  • Kidney Bleeding
  • Gastrointestinal (GI) Bleeding
  • General Internal Bleeding
  • Heart Attack/ Cardiac Injury

In a recent press release, the manufacturer of Pradaxa® , Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals , admitted that Pradaxa ® had caused at least 260 deaths from excessive bleeding. Source: Forbes

Lawsuits have been filed on behalf of Pradaxa ® victims since 2012 in Courts across the country. Most of these suits are alleging thatPradaxa ® marketing and design defects have caused life-threateningbleeding. Lawsuits also allege that Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals failed to warn physicians andpatients adequately of the risks associated with taking Pradaxa ® . (read more)
