These elements of damage may include medical expenses, loss of wages, pain and suffering, disability and disfigurement. Additionally, if the victim is married, a possible claim for loss of consortium may be appropriate.
Wrongful Death refers to cases in which the wrongful conduct results in untimely death. In a wrongful death suit, a family member is seeking money damages for the death of a loved one. The damages recoverable include the loss of financial contributions made to the family by the deceased family member and the loss of love, companionship and affection each family member receives from the deceased family member's continued existence.
